Duetto selected as a preferred Revenue Solutions Provider for the Leading Hotels of the World

Luxury Hotel Collection enters preferred vendor agreement with cloud-based Duetto as part of digital transformation.

SAN FRANCISCO – Duetto announced that it was selected as a preferred revenue management system (RMS) provider for The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW). LHW is the largest collection of independent luxury properties, with more than 400 member hotels in over 80 destinations.

Digital transformation is an important focus for LHW’s membership, with senior leadership at the collection now working towards delivering a technology stack that member hotels can leverage to drive their digitization.

“At Leading Hotels we are empowering our member hotels with a technology platform that will drive revenue and improve efficiency, freeing up our world-class hoteliers to spend more time on what’s most important – our guests,” said Michael Lederman, Vice President of Information Technology, The Leading Hotels of the World. “We are excited to include Duetto as a preferred RMS provider, a key component of that platform. Duetto’s innovative technologies will enable our hotels to make better pricing decisions faster, leading to stronger performance and profitability.”

Earlier this year LHW announced its preferred property management systems (PMS), including Mews and protel, both of which integrate with Duetto. Following this, LHW identified preferred RMS providers. Duetto, the first and only cloud-native RMS, was chosen for its advanced technology architecture, extensive integrations, and flexible solutions.

The Duetto Revenue Strategy Platform, which includes the GameChanger application for pricing, ScoreBoard for intelligent reporting, and BlockBuster for contracted-business optimization, provides built-in customization and controlled automation to enable hotels to tailor solutions to meet their individual needs. Already, nearly 20 hotels in LHW have their revenue powered by Duetto:

We adopted Duetto just as the pandemic was taking hold. But, despite the uncertain market conditions, Duetto met all its promises: we did achieve ROI and our ADR did increase, albeit moderately. Everyone on the management team loves working in Duetto and this has enabled us to develop a true interdisciplinary revenue culture,” said Annett Richter, Director of Revenue at Victoria-Jungfrau Grandhotel & Spa.

“We chose Duetto as it offers us great flexibility in controlling our rates, especially in setting segment restrictions. This has boosted our profitability, for example by helping us save on commission costs on certain dates and segments. The forecasting and budgeting features mean we are no longer using Excel spreadsheets and we work better together as a team,” said Alexander Gibb, Director of Distribution, Baur au Lac.

“Duetto has streamlined our revenue processes. Its user-friendly interface and flexibility enable us to tailor our revenue strategy for each of our bespoke customer segments, helping us optimize revenue and work more efficiently as a team,” said Henrik Weiske, Director of Revenue Management, Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin.

LHW chose to collaborate with Duetto because of its built-in customization and controlled automation, along with its long-standing experience working with independent, prestigious, high-end hotels.

“The Leading Hotels of the World is a collection of the most iconic properties from around the globe. Being chosen as one of their preferred RMS vendors is a great endorsement of how Duetto’s solutions can adapt and align with the needs of unique and bespoke properties,” said David Woolenberg, CEO, Duetto. “We look forward to working with the collection and supporting the revenue goals of these independent property owners.”

“10 years ago, Duetto was founded to provide the most innovative, flexible, and only cloud-native revenue strategy solution to meet the needs of unique independent hotels. There is no better example of unique properties than The Leading Hotels of the World’s prestigious collection,” said John Lingos-Webb to Senior Director of Global Partnerships & Alliances, Duetto. “Each LHW property has bespoke requirements for revenue strategy, and through this partnership, Duetto will be able to support LHW for years to come.”
