EAST, Miami welcomes a plethora of partners staying true to the pillars of the brand

The newly opened lifestyle hotel & residences at Brickell City Centre has already established a number of meaningful local and international partnerships pertaining to the arts, technology, design, beverages, entertainment and the environment.

EAST, Miami, the newly opened 352-guestroom, lifestyle anchor hotel for Swire Properties’ £1 Billion mixed-used development, and the first of its kind for the Hong Kong-based brand in the United States, features destination dining at its signature restaurants Quinto La Huella and Sugar, Domain – its lobby cafe and bar, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, cutting edge technology, and quality amenities available to both local residents and visitors to Miami. Staying true to its brand essence, the hotel has exclusively partnered with a number of international and local organizations pertaining to the arts, entertainment, technology, design, beverages and the environment, to benefit its guests and the local community, images of which can be found here.

“Distinct partnerships have always been important to EAST’s culture, and as an innovative young company, we are keen on collaborating with cutting-edge brands and organizations near or far that involve the community, the arts, better the environment and enhance the overall guest experience at all of our hotels,” says Brian Williams, Managing Director of Swire Hotels. “Namely for EAST, Miami we have carefully handpicked a number of local emerging brands whom we believe in, and want to support their homegrown roots and growth.”

Within each room, and throughout the hotel, guests can find the fruits of collaboration with leading local beverage companies including Panther Coffee, JoJo Tea and Wynwood Brewing Company. Panther Coffee, a Miami-based specialty coffee roaster, retailer and wholesaler specializing in the small-batch roasting of coffee beans and the preparation of coffee beverages, provides all of the coffee for the hotel as an exclusive partner. EAST, Miami is also the first hotel in Miami to have Panther Coffee throughout the property and within each guestroom and residence suite. Additionally, the company has created custom coffee pods exclusive for EAST, Miami guests. JoJo Tea, a company founded in 2011 by two young Miami natives, have redefined the concept of tea as tea, with a mission to stimulate creativity and energize the intellect through seriously good tea. JoJo Tea is also served throughout all restaurant and beverage outlets at the hotel as well as in each guestroom and residence suite. EAST, Miami has proudly partnered with Wynwood Brewing Company, a family owned and operated business that offers fresh, delicious, and creative beers to thirsty South Floridians and tourists alike. The hotel has implemented Wynwood Brewing’s La Rubia within every restaurant and bar outlet on premise and within every in-room mini bar to support Miami’s first craft production brewery, located in the heart of Wynwood Art District, only minutes away from the hotel.

Not simply for entertainment, the goal of every Swire property is to give back to the community at large. Swire has signed on as the sole hotel corporate sponsor for the The National YoungArts Foundation, which identifies and supports the next generation of artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts; assists them at critical junctures in their educational and professional development; and raises appreciation for the arts in American society. Beginning this October, EAST, Miami will be hosting a three-month music residency on property at EAST, Miami, highlighting a mix of jazz and contemporary tunes.

As a lifestyle hotel & residences, EAST, Miami is keen on supporting the music and the arts. Upon opening in May, the hotel has become an official sponsor of the Perez Art Museum Miami Benefactor Dinner. EAST, Miami is also planning to incorporate PAMM private tours and tickets for its in-room packages and extend the offer to its VIP guests of the hotel. Most recently the hotel was the official hotel sponsor of III Points, a three-day music, art and tech festival, founded by Miami visionaries and positioned over the past four years in Wynwood – the rising star of Miami’s modern and artistic urban development. During the festival this October, III Points took over the town with lectures, labs, tech talks, concerts, gallery showcases and a fully immersive five stage main ground. As part of its partnership, EAST, Miami hosted all talent, from M83 to Redman & Method Man and incorporated a number of on premise activations and private after parties for the festival’s top artists and locals alike. Special guests included Rob Garza of Thievery Cooperation, Julio Victoria of Get Physical, and David Marston of Soul Clap Records.

Like EAST, Miami, VanDutch yachts raises the bar for modern design and advanced technology. The hotel has recently partnered with the prestigious yacht company to incorporate these vessels in their room package offering while also offering guests the ability to charter a cruise at a discounted rate.

In every guestroom and residence suite, cables, charging docks, and other technologically advanced amenities have been sourced from Native Union, a Hong Kong based company founded in 2009 that specializes in creating timeless design accessories of exceptional quality. Branded items are also offered to VIP guests as welcome amenities and for EAST, Miami personnel to utilize in hotel operations. Skin care and beauty products are provided by Australia-based Appelles Apothecary and Lab, which feature specially-blended shampoos, soaps, and lotions.

Following EAST, Beijing’s footsteps, from the moment guests walk into the property, you will see each team member wearing shoes by Feiyue, a footwear company from China, to accompany their relaxed and casual uniform. The hotel is currently working with Feiyue to design a customized product as a collaboration that fits the branding for EAST.
