Fiesta Hotel Group rebrands to Palladium Hotel Group

Spanish hotel chain Fiesta Hotel Group has rebranded to Palladium Hotel Group, a change that comes as the company moves into their fifth business decade and sits comfortably as Spain’s sixth most important hotel group in terms of properties and room inventory on a global scale.

The Palladium Hotels & Resorts brand was first launched by Fiesta Hotels & Resorts in 2002 with the inauguration of two luxury eco-resorts in Riviera-Maya, Mexico. Since then the Palladium brand has grown to achieve global recognition marking a high value, luxury proposition with a collection of 15 properties in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Brazil and Spain.

The hotel chain that was first given the name Fiesta Hotel Group in 2002 currently owns 48 properties in six countries and has ambitious expansion plans both in Europe and The Americas with two new openings planned for 2013.

Juan Jose Calvo, Group Commercial Director says, “The rebrand to Palladium Hotel Group is the next logical step as Palladium Hotels & Resorts continue to gain exposure and loyalty in the international arena. As we continue to develop our global proposition, it is vital that we play on our strengths and Palladium offers an important set of standards such as high quality, service and added-value that we feel are fundamental to the success of the organisation. This rebrand also helps with the positioning of our urban chain, Ayre, which has grown significantly over the last 6 years.

Palladium Hotel Group replaces Fiesta Hotel Group to act as the umbrella brand for eight existing hotel brands, each with its own set of characteristics and customers.
