Francisco Blanch appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at La Concha Resort

Accomplished Hospitality Sales & Marketing Director to join management team of the beachfront San Juan Oasis.

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO – International Hospitality Enterprises (IHE), the management powerhouse behind six award-winning hotels in Puerto Rico, has appointed Francisco Blanch as Director of Sales & Marketing for La Concha Resort. Located on prime Caribbean beachfront and just a fifteen minute drive from Old San Juan, this chic destination hotel boasts a private beach, three pools, on-site dining, and the state-of-the-art Casino Del Mar.

As Director of Sales & Marketing at La Concha Resort, Blanch will create and oversee the hotel’s annual business and marketing plans, coordinate sales activities throughout the resort, work to maximize hotel revenue and expand corporate accounts, and develop marketing and sales campaigns.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Blanch most recently served as Director of Leisure Sales at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood Beach, Florida.  A seasoned transient distribution expert with ample knowledge on both domestic and international market trends, he has been involved with several property openings and transitions including the re-opening the Fontainebleau Miami Beach and the St. Regis Bal Harbour. As a Leisure Cluster Director for 18 Starwood properties in the Caribbean and South Florida, he oversaw the leisure sales strategies of 9 brands, including the W Vieques, St. Regis Bahia Beach, and Sheraton Puerto Rico.

Francisco attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in his early years. Upon returning to Venezuela, he completed law school at Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas.
