Further £2m investment set to commence at Bovey Castle

A major investment by the new owners of award-winning Bovey Castle is due to commence at the Devon hotel this month.

STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, ENGLAND – Bovey Castle, recently added to the Eden Hotel Collection, was earmarked for an immediate £2m renovation programme, in addition to recent £10m investment, to include an exciting re-launch of the hotel’s food and beverage offerings, as well as improvements to the guest rooms and other public areas.

Bovey Castle, a favourite amongst international clients visiting the South West, is an award-winning hotel.

Mark Chambers, Managing Director of Eden Hotel Collection, commented, “We aim to take Bovey Castle back to its former glory in establishing it as the principle five star resort in the South West.”

The hotel announced the appointment of Greg Fehler as General Manager.

Greg, formerly of The Welcombe Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, has three decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Greg has forged an impressive reputation and his track record in managing large, complex hotel businesses speaks for itself.

Chambers added, “We are delighted to have Greg join our team. He brings a wealth of experience and I look forward to working with him in delivering the group’s aspirations for this hotel.”
