Gilles Clavie appointed new CEO of AccorInvest

AccorInvest announced that Gilles Clavie, Orbis CEO will succeed John Ozinga as Chief Executive Officer. 

AccorInvest owns and operates a portfolio of 911 owned and leased hotels, located in 31 countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia. The Group invests to consolidate its real estate portfolio through hotel acquisitions, renovations and new hotel developments in Europe in the economy and midscale segments. In March 2020 AccorInvest acquired 100% shares of Orbis SA, where Gilles Clavie has been the President of the Management Board & CEO for the last six years. Orbis today is an international hotel group with 73 hotels located in 6 countries of the EE region. 

"Gilles Clavie brings at the helm of the company a strong operational and financial background, which will help him lead AccorInvest in the coming years. The Board of Directors will support Gilles and the executive team as we position the Company for future growth" said Nadra Moussalem, AccorInvest Chairman of the Board.

Gilles Clavie will take over his new role as at 1st of July, 2020.
