SWITZERLAND – New for this summer, Grand Hotel Kronenhof, Pontresina is offering groups the chance to experience something truly unique: the opportunity to spend time in the hotel’s very own Swiss Alpine hut where perfect conditions are to be found for team building exercises or corporate brain storming sessions far from distractions.
Grand Hotel Kronenhof’s Alpine typical hut is located high up in the mountains, just 10kms from the hotel and close to the Bernina Pass, and is surrounded by unspoilt wild pasture, giving corporate groups the chance to feel the grass underneath their feet and truly escape the stresses, not to mention interruptions, of modern working life in order to focus on what’s important.
So that groups can make the most of their day in the mountain, Grand Hotel Kronenhof has put together a package that includes transfers to and from the Alpine hut, as well as a rustic barbecue picnic (created by Bernd Schutzelhofer, Executive Chef at Grand Hotel Kronenhof and awarded the prize of Chef of the Year 2012 by the Swiss economic magazine Bilanz), which is prepared on site by a private chef. Equally, the group could hike to the hut and help with the preparation of the meal, as part of team-building exercises.
