Grand Luxxe Residence Club Riviera Maya joins Interval International

Interval International, a leading global provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group, welcomes Grand Luxxe Residence Club on Mexico’s celebrated Riviera Maya, to its exchange network. Developed by Grupo Vidanta, it is the latest vacation ownership project in the company’s high-end luxury brand, which launched in 2008 with the Grand Luxxe Residence Club Nuevo Vallarta.

“Grupo Vidanta resorts reflect world-class standards in shared ownership, with their unparalleled accommodations and amenities. We are very pleased to add their second Grand Luxxe property to our global network,” said Craig M. Nash, chairman, president, and CEO of Interval Leisure Group. “The company’s ongoing commitment to the highest level of quality is evident in every detail of the new resort, from its stunning architecture and designer furnishings, to its unique personal butler service that caters to the needs of every customer.”

The largest two-bedroom villas feature between 2,300 and 3,000 square feet with spacious living and dining areas, gourmet kitchen, dual master suites, and a terrace or patio with a private plunge pool. Open-design rooms with 12-foot ceilings have a sleek minimalist decor with white on white, navy accents, zebra wood, marble floors, modern fixtures, Deluxxe Beds® and 50-inch flat screen television with cable/satellite stations. Bathrooms have a marble vanity, oversized hot tub, and separate shower.

“As we expand the Grand Luxxe Residence Club portfolio, we look forward to welcoming Interval members to our spectacular new Mexican vacation destination. Grand Luxxe sets the bar for personalized luxury travel and should satisfy even the most discriminating consumer,” said Michel Beuffe, chief operations officer of Grupo Vidanta.

The open-air concept of the resort is designed to blend in with the rich, tropical vegetation and local Mayan culture. The focal point of the landscaped grounds is an extensive, free-form swimming pool with infinity edges. Lazy rivers link wave pools and children’s swimming areas, creating an appealing experience for guests of all ages.

Other on-site amenities include the Brio Health Spa and Fitness Center, pristine white-sand beaches and cabanas, kid’s club with supervised activities, and 24-hour front desk with multilingual staff. Guests can choose from a variety of restaurants offering fine to casual dining or shop at the deli market. Private butler service on each floor is available to assist guests with everything from unpacking luggage to making reservations for dinner, golf, private jet charters, and the extensive menu of spa treatments.

In nearby Playa del Carmen, there is a wide selection of upscale shops and restaurants. Golf is available at an adjacent course with 18 holes wrapped around two lakes. Visitors can also take sightseeing tours to the Mayan ruins at Tulum.
