Great Hotels of the World, the London-based hotel sales and marketing alliance, has added eight new properties to its collection.
Nhow Berlin, Berlin, Germany
This “music and lifestyle” hotel is set on the banks of the River Spree in the heart of Berlin. The only hotel in Europe to offer two professional music studios, the Nhow has 304 modern guest rooms, a spa, and a restaurant serving French and German cuisine. As well as the normal amenities expected from a luxury hotel, at the Nhow Berlin guests can even order guitars on room service.
NH Berlin Friedrichstrasse, Berlin, Germany
Another amazing location in Berlin, the NH Berlin Friedrichstrasse is close to Berlin’s most famous sights, including the Brandenburg Gate and the Unter den Linden, and its impressive shopping areas. There are 268 guest rooms and suites, and a restaurant serving German and Mediterranean dishes. The hotel can arrange Segway, bike and e-car rental for exploring the city.
NH Wien City Airport
One more hotel from the NH stable, the Wien City Airport is, as its name suggests, a short walk from Vienna Airport, yet just 16 minutes by train to the city centre, making it ideal for both business travellers and tourists alike. There are 500 soundproofed rooms, a large gym area, sauna and steam baths, and massage therapists. Two restaurants and a bar serve delicious cuisine and creative drinks.
Lopesan Baobab Resort
A new hotel on the south of Gran Canaria, this African-style resort features tropical gardens, sparkling waterfalls and private sandy beaches. Activities abound, including tennis, volleyball and diving. At Pili Pili guests can enjoy barbecues, paellas, lobster and more, while the Akara restaurant serves rare meats including wildebeest, zebra, oryx and antelope.

Near the Baobab Resort is the Costa Meloneras Resort – a luxury resort on the seafront, just a few minutes from the Maspalomas Nature Reserve. The renowned Spa Corallium Costa Meloneras offers thalassotherapy treatments and massage therapies.
Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso
Another neighbour, the Lopesan Villa del Conde resembles a traditional Canarian village, with a central square, gardens and villas with wooden balconies. The reception is modelled on one of the oldest churches on the island, with two main towers, a bell tower and central dome.
IFA Catarina Hotel
Just a short walk is the IFA Catarina Hotel, located in Playa des Ingles and close to the Maspalomas Dunes. Rooms are spacious, and there is a good selection of food and beverage options, including a pool bar.
Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre
Amsterdam’s Movenpick City Centre is set on the banks of the IJ River, and boasts impressive views, despite being just a short drive from Schiphol Airport. This central location means that it’s just a short walk to the city’s main attractions, historical centre and museums.
