"Stay Safe at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten"
Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten re-opened on 18 May with a new campaign "Stay Safe at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten". This outlines the hotel’s new safety measures for guests and covers distances between restaurant tables, digital menus and housekeeping‘s disinfection practices. The team’s focus is also on flexibility when dealing with new booking, postponements or waiving cancellation fees.

Anna Ziegler, Director of Sales & Marketing at Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten says: “The purpose of our new campaign is to build close guest relations and respond to everyone’s current needs with flexibility and goodwill. We’ve introduced guidelines designed to deliver a safe and healthy environment for all of our guests and protect the wellbeing of our 300 employees – who we consider to be the heart and?soul of Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten.”

Focus on family values at Grand Elysee Hamburg
For the team at the Grand Elysee Hamburg, the largest five-star private hotel in Germany, their family values have helped see them through the crisis. The hotel has been privately run by the Block family since it was founded in 1985.

Speaking shortly after their opening on 18 May, Andre Vedovelli, hotel director of the Grand Elysee Hamburg said: “We at the Grand Elysee Hamburg think the hotel industry in Germany and across Europe will become even more sustainable in terms of human resources. Our most valuable asset is our team – we’ve weathered this hardship together and are now working collectively to regain strength. During the crisis we maintained the special Grand Elysee family atmosphere through a regular programme of interactive training workshops as well as a video and photo campaign featuring colleagues from different divisions of the hotel.”

Serviced Suites fit the bill at Fraser Suites
Fraser Suites Hamburg re-opened on 25 May, exactly one year after their official launch in the city. Alongside its luxury rooms and suites, the five-star superior hotel offers accommodation for extended stays – now one of the key elements of the business.

Fraser Suites Hamburg, located near to Hamburg’s UNESCO-listed Speicherstadt, has large suites with a separate living room and study area plus fully equipped kitchenette, enabling guests to cook for themselves. Fraser Suites Hamburg already has confirmed business from domestic corporate buyers, small groups and individuals on extended stays of over 1 month.

Florian Gerdes, marketing manager Conventions, at the Hamburg Convention Bureau, adds: “Visitors, when they’re ready to return to Hamburg, can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome.”
