Sophisticated Destination Resort & Spa to open in the Finger Lakes Region of New York.
WESTPORT, CT – Hay Creek Hotels announced tthat they have been selected to manage the new Canandaigua Finger Lakes Resort and Spa.
The upscale independent resort is currently under development with plans to open in the spring of 2015. The resort will consist of 111 guest rooms and suites as well as 47 luxury waterfront condominiums. The property is located in the heart of the Canandaigua, N.Y. on 5.5 acres of land that overlooks the north shore of Canandaigua Lake. The town of Canandaigua is situated one hour east of Syracuse. The lake is the 4th largest of the Finger Lakes and is a recognized destination for tourism and leisure travel and is also home to several award winning wine vineyards.
The resort will feature a destination waterfront restaurant and patio, 12,000 square feet of meeting facilities, a state of the art spa facility and fitness center as well as indoor and outdoor pools. The guest rooms, restaurant and meeting facilities will have spectacular southerly views of Canandaigua Lake.
The resort will offer public docks for guests and for those visiting the restaurant and outdoor bar by boat. The resort also owns and operates the “Canandaigua Lady”, a 19th century replica double deck paddle wheel steamboat that will offer cruises for tourists and guests as well as special private events.

The resort will be a careful blend of contemporary and lodge style design with accents in keeping with Canandaigua’s rich cultural history. The restaurant will feature a culinary arts kitchen with plans to offer culinary and wine seminars for guests.
