Hertz, HRS join growing Concur TripLink platform to extend benefits of corporate managed travel programs

TripLink network now includes all major rental car companies and largest hotel aggregator in Europe.

BELLEVUE, WASH. – Concur announced new TripLink partnerships with Hertz and HRS Global Hotel Solutions at Concur Fusion 2016, its signature customer event of the year. The integrations will give travel managers the visibility, benefits, and tools associated with their corporate managed travel programs across bookings travelers are making today.

“Sometimes business travelers need to reserve car rentals and hotel accommodations directly,” said Tim MacDonald, executive vice president of Travel for Concur. “Our partnerships with Hertz and HRS expand our network of Concur TripLink partners, which now reflects the majority of the world’s car rental companies and a growing number of leading hotel content and service providers, giving our customers a transparent view into that spend.”

By integrating Hertz and HRS into the Concur TripLink platform, travel managers will be able to track, view and manage all bookings made directly on Hertz.com and HRS.com, as soon as they occur. With Hertz, Concur TripLink now covers 93 percent of all rental cars in the U.S. HRS hotel content and payments are also available in Concur Travel, offering multiple options for customers.

“We are addressing the evolving needs of our business traveler customers,” said Bob Stuart, executive vice president of global sales at Hertz Global Holdings. “This partnership with Concur helps deliver a more streamlined booking experience for business travelers reserving vehicles on Hertz.com, ensuring they maximize their travel budgets, while also providing corporations with the visibility they need to manage their business.”

Concur TripLink is the first solution of its kind to extend the benefits of a managed travel program to bookings that happen directly with suppliers. This allows businesses to:

  • Maximize the use of negotiated corporate discounts
  • Gain visibility into spend, no matter where it is booked
  • Have a consolidated view of all travel program data
  • Ensure end user compliance with company travel policy
  • Fulfill duty of care requirements.

“Today’s customers expect integrated solutions, seamless processes and transparency. We are entering a new strategic level of the long-standing partnership between HRS and Concur, which will enable corporates to streamline the booking and expense management process even more,” said Tobias Ragge, CEO at HRS.

Additional global Concur TripLink partners include AccorHotels, Airbnb, Air Canada, Avis, Booking.com, Captain Train, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Etihad Airways, Hertz, HotelTonight, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Lufthansa, Marriott International, National Car Rental, Omni Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Sixt Rent a Car, United Airlines and Wally Park.

“Concur has emerged as the only vendor that can provide corporate travel and business managers with a single set of connected software solutions that increase both the user experience and the ability to more closely manage corporate expenses at the same time,” said Chris Chute, Vice President, Customer Insights and Analysis Group, IDC. “Today’s TripLink announcements mark a significant update for both Concur and the broader travel and expense management industry.”
