Holidaycottages.co.uk partners with iNews to launch the Staycation Awards 2019

Applications are invited from both business and holidaymakers.

As one of the leading providers of UK holidays, The Travel Chapter’s flagship brand holidaycottages.co.uk announced that they are the headline sponsors for the very first iNews Staycation Awards. These inaugural awards recognise the growing demand for top-quality staycation holidays and offer a chance to celebrate the UK’s most loved holiday spots and best travel businesses in the industry.

Award categories include Dog-friendly Accommodation of the Year which has been sponsored by the Travel Chapter’s dog-friendly brand Canine Cottages and Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year which has been sponsored by holidaycottages.co.uk. Other award categories include the Taste Award and the Accessible for All Award, which recognises the most inclusive tour, attraction or holiday centre in the UK.

Marketing Director James Starkey says: "As a brand, we’re extremely passionate in championing all that’s unique and special about taking a holiday in the UK, so the chance to partner with the Staycation Awards and celebrate the best of the industry across so many different areas was an exciting opportunity we couldn’t miss.”

Applications are invited from both business and holidaymakers. Anyone taking the time to nominate will be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win a family holiday in a holidaycottages.co.uk property of their choice, up to the value of £1,000.

All finalists will be invited to attend the awards ceremony, to be held at London’s St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on 21 November, hosted by popular TV presenter Matt Baker.

"We’re excited to see the entries from the huge range of businesses and brands that help to make the UK staycation industry so fantastic; we’re incredibly proud that holidaycottages.co.uk can play a part in these awards in their inaugural year."

Applications are now open and will close on 30 September.
