Hostaway has been a Vrbo partner for four years and was made Preferred Partner a year ago.
TORONTO – Hostaway, the all-in-one vacation rental management software for ambitious property managers, has earned Elite Connectivity Partner status with Vrbo, the highest designation available in its Connectivity Partner Program.
The Vrbo Connectivity Partner Program, now in its ninth year, recognizes and rewards top vacation rental connectivity providers – including property management software companies, channel managers, and other vendors – for maintaining high-quality software connections and helping property managers grow their business on Vrbo and better serve travelers.
Elite status is awarded annually to an exclusive group of top-performing vacation rental software companies that offer excellent quality software connections to Vrbo and advanced tools and capabilities for their clients. Only seven partners currently have Elite status out of nearly a hundred global connectivity providers. Hostaway has been a Vrbo partner for four years and was made Preferred Partner a year ago.
Hostaway is now the only PMS and Channel Manager in the industry to have been awarded Elite status with Vrbo in addition to preferred partnerships with Booking.com and Airbnb, the latter of which was announced last year. The company, which has offices in Canada, the US, Finland, Spain, and Australia, serves property managers worldwide.
As a part of its new designation, Hostaway may receive early access to new Vrbo tools and features that it can pilot and integrate into its software. Hostaway will also work directly with Vrbo’s leadership team, providing feedback and helping shape future Vrbo products for vacation rental property managers.
To be eligible for Elite status, software companies are rated on several technical and performance criteria, including:
- Improving traveler experiences on Vrbo
- Developing integrated tools and capabilities to a high standard
- Providing a quality technical connection to Vrbo with a reliable user experience
- Delivering exceptional performance outcomes on Vrbo to their clients
- Engaging with the Vrbo team to continually optimize tools and capabilities
Marcus Rader, CEO & Co-Founder of Hostaway, said: “The Hostaway team are thrilled with this recognition by Vrbo, who have had an exciting growth journey of their own these past couple of years. As the vacation rental bug shows no sign of slowing down – our data already indicates 2022 occupancy and nightly rates for vacation rentals are higher than last summer – our strong API connection with Vrbo will help property managers continue to attract and manager new bookings in the future.”
“Hostaway plays a crucial role in the travel ecosystem by building innovative solutions that empower global lodging properties to grow their businesses and deliver amazing experiences to travelers,” said Lisa Chen, Vice President, Global Lodging Connectivity & Solutions. “We are excited and energized to deepen our relationship with Hostaway in 2022 as a key stakeholder in our collective mission to power global travel for everyone, everywhere.”
Hostaway provides the tools, integrations, and customer care to help property managers drive efficiencies, generate more revenue, and ultimately grow their business. Marketing, sales, accounting, reporting, payment, and communication can be managed and streamlined through their online platform or app.
