Burbank luxury hotel to upgrade guestrooms, bar, lounge and bathrooms.
BURBANK, CA – CBT, a Boston-based Interior and Architectural design firm specializing in hospitality, has announced that it will begin the interior design renovation of the Hotel Amarano (322 North Pass Avenue, Burbank, CA) in November 2015. The redesign includes the guestrooms, bathrooms, bar, lounge and lobby combo and is expected to be completed in February 2016.
Inspired by the hotel’s location at the heart of the world’s entertainment capital, CBT’s design draws from the nearby movie and film studios. The renovation will revamp the 100 guestrooms in the original wing with luxurious details like sheen metal bed posts, vintage tie backs, vibrant turquoise carpets and accents, as well as movie reel artwork. As homage to the classic movie era, guestrooms will also have a custom wall graphic with lines from Casablanca and a hidden Hollywood movie count-down. The dressing rooms will have contemporary directors chairs, complimented by chevron wood floors and classic vanities with tabletops adorned with vintage photos. Guestroom doors will be reminiscent of actors’ dressing rooms, including a frosted mirror panel on the side that creates a grand feeling upon entry.
“Guests will experience sheer luxury with our elegant and serene design with film-inspired annotations,” said Jacqueline McGee, CBT Principal. “Our neutral canvas with exquisite detail will become a home away from home and help guests refresh and refocus. We are looking forward to preserving the luxe in this film hub retreat with our design.”
