Hotel Business, a leader in hospitality news distribution, has joined the corporate membership program at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. As part of the strategic alliance, Hotel Business will provide editorial coverage of SHA events and programs as well as online and print advertising.
"Hotel Business reaches the top executives in the industry through its online portal and traditional print publications," said Michael D. Johnson, dean and E. M. Statler Professor at SHA. "Working together, we will be able to extend the reach of the school’s research summits and educational programs. We are delighted to begin this new partnership."
Through the partnership, Hotel Business will help to promote the Cornell Hospitality Research Summit, a conference organized by the Center for Hospitality Research, October 6–8, 2010; the Cornell Icon of the Industry Awards Dinner, a gala event that honors industry leaders and serves as a fundraiser for the school’s scholarships and programs; and the Dean’s Leadership Series, a biannual panel discussion in which academic and industry executives address pressing issues that face hospitality industry.
