Hotel Svendborg joins Best Western International

Hotel Svendborg located in Svendborg on the island of Funen joint as of January 15th 2013 Best Western International. Best Western now counts 24 hotels in Denmark and 1 hotel in Iceland. 

COPENHAGEN – Best Western International welcomes new member hotel in Svendborg, Funen. Best Western Hotel Svendborg became on January 15th a new member of Best Western International and the hotel chain now counts 24 hotels in Denmark and 1 hotel in Iceland.

The 4-star Best Western Hotel Svendborg offers all modern hotel and conference facilities located in the idyllic southern part of Funen with a perfect location in the heart of Svendborg. The hotel offers 135 comfortable guest rooms. In addition the hotel offers a-la-carte restaurant, breakfast restaurant and lobby bar.

General Manager, Best Western Hotel Svendborg, Mr. Tom-Pelle Jensen says: “We are very proud to become members of Best Western International and are looking forward to welcome guests to our city from all over the world”.

Best Western International experiences increasing growth in revenue as well as in number of member hotels in Denmark and the growth seem to continue in 2013 and 2014. 2012 was a year with high growth rates both in terms of revenue and within the loyalty program, Best Western Rewards, with an increase of 20%. “The growth rates are expected to continue in 2013 and 2014” states Peter Laigaard Jensen.
