Hotusa Hotels adds 90 new member hotels in third quarter of 2016

The top consortium of independent hotels in the world according to HOTELS magazine is consolidating its international expansion with 21 in France 11 in Spain, 6 in the USA and 24 in Latin America.

BARCELONA – In the third quarter of 2016, Hotusa Hotels grew its portfolio, adding 90 new member establishments, 11 in Spain and 79 in a total of 20 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. With these latest incorporations, the Grupo Hotusa consortium of independent hotels has consolidated its position in Spain while reinforcing its global positioning and expansion.

In 2016 Hotusa Hotels has added a total of 325 new associated hotels. Amongst the new members outstands the 21 hotels associated in France, where Hotusa Hotels has more han 350 members; the 6 in the USA as well as the 5 new members in Italy and Portugal. We must also highlight the growth of Hotusa Hotels in Latin America with a total of 24 new members in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.

By country, the new Hotusa Hotels member establishments are in the following locations: Germany (5), Argentina (1), Chile (3), Colombia (6), Costa Rica (4), Czech Republic (1), United Arab Emirates (1), United States (6), France (21), Greece (1), Netherlands (1), Italy (5), Mexico (6), Panama (2), Portugal (5), United Kingdom (4), Dominican Republic (2), Russia (3) and Turkey (1).

Hotusa Hotels is the number one consortium of independent hotels in the world according to US magazine HOTELS, with more than 2,700 member establishments in 26 countries in Europe, 13 in the Americas, 7 in Africa and 6 in Asia. The Hotusa Hotels strategy is based on a portfolio of establishments of different levels and categories located in top tourist destinations.
