HSMAI releases final line-Up for hotel internet marketing trategy conference

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will launch its first HSMAI Hotel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference in Miami at the Hotel InterContinental on Dec. 12, 2003 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the participation of major hotel brands, leading search engines, third party intermediaries and keynote speakers addressing the consumer perspective.



In this intensive, interactive session, keynote speakers will set the stage for issues as they relate to the consumer marketplace, followed by panels of two senior hotel brand Internet marketing directors, two intermediaries, and two search engines, moderated by Dr. William Carroll from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.



The response to this strategy conference has been overwhelming, which just affirms Internet marketing`s huge impact, importance and concern as it relates to the sales and marketing process, says Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI.

Earlier in the year, Internet marketing specialists from leading hotel companies united under the auspices of HSMAI to form a committee dedicated to the most pressing and topical issues facing the industry as it relates to Internet marketing. Prior to the upcoming Strategy Conference, the committee held monthly phone forums to debate and address pertinent issues.
