Hyatt International denies the allegation of Saudi Egyptian touristic development company

Hyatt International (EAME) LLC is aware of the statements that SETDC has been making to the media concerning the dispute between the parties and the various events preceding the termination of Hyatt’s contract on March 20. Hyatt disputes SETDC’s statements concerning these events. We deeply regret that SETDC has chosen to publicize such unfair and inaccurate characterizations of Hyatt.

Hyatt denies any allegation that we have violated our contract, or the standard of excellence expected of the Hyatt brand. Hyatt has instituted arbitration proceedings against SETDC, which is a confidential process, and accordingly, we will not be in a position to make any further comment.

Additionally, Hyatt reiterates that the Hotel is not being operated by or in cooperation with any Hyatt affiliated company. Hyatt has instituted urgent legal proceedings to prevent any further use by SETDC of the Hyatt branding.
