InterContinental Hotels Group announced that Staybridge Suites has opened the doors of its 83rd all-suite hotel in Allentown, Pa. With the addition of the new 83-room hotel there are now two Staybridge Suites properties with nearly 200 guestrooms in Allentown.
The InterContinental Hotels Group portfolio in Pennsylvania is represented by five of its brands, including the upscale, full service, limited service, upscale extended stay and mid-scale extended stay segments with 96 hotels and more than 13,000 rooms.
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our second Staybridge Suites hotel in Allentown, said Robert Radomski, vice president, brand management, Staybridge Suites. The opening of this hotel marks the continuation of our strategy to develop in thriving business markets, both large and small.
Guests at the new 66,000-sq. ft. Staybridge Suites hotel can choose from three suite options (deluxe studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom/two-bath). All suites feature fully equipped kitchens, functional, well-lit work stations with ergonomic seating, two-line speaker phone with voicemail and direct dial access. High-speed internet access is also available at no charge.
The new hotel offers several unique amenities such as complimentary guest laundry and workout facilities, sports court, indoor pool and hot tub, outdoor patio, same day laundry and valet, free parking, deluxe complimentary daily breakfast buffet, which features a rotating selection of hot items, a 24-hour convenience store and a 24-hour business services center. In addition, guests will enjoy gathering in the hotel`s Great Room for evening Sundowner receptions three days a week for refreshments, light appetizers and conversation. The Staybridge Suites Allentown West also offers nearly 700 sq.-ft. of meeting space.
The new hotel is located on the west side of Allentown off I-78 and Rt. 100. Several key businesses are close by, such as Mack Trucks, Air Products and Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network. Dorney Park and the Philadelphia Expo Center are just minutes from the hotel.
