The teams at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Al Khozama Management Company (AKMC) are celebrating following a double win at the inaugural Kingdom Hotel Expansion Awards. Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel was distinguished for Excellence in Customer Service, while Mr. Hussein Hatata, Vice President of Hotels Division AKMC was awarded for Excellence in Hospitality Leadership. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts manages the two properties owned by Al Khozama Management Company in Riyadh, Hotel Al Khozama, A Rosewood Hotel and Al Fasialiah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel.
The winners were recognized at the awards ceremony of the Kingdom Hotel Expansion and Investment Summit, the premier hospitality event in Saudi Arabia organised by ‘naseba’. The judging panel comprised a number of esteemed hospitality industry professionals from the Kingdom, who set rigorous selection criteria, and made the final decisions for the winners in each category.
With an impressive string of awards over the past few years, these latest wins further cement the reputations of both companies as leading hoteliers in the Kingdom. “We are incredibly pleased to be honoured at the awards,” said Costas S. Gavriel, Director of Sales and Marketing at Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama. “Flawless, personalised service is a cornerstone of our hospitality philosophy, and we work constantly to raise our levels of excellence and exceed guest expectations.”
“Our win at the Kingdom Hotel Expansion Awards underscores our standard-setting role in the industry, with leading figures in hospitality creating the selection parameters and ultimately distinguishing Al Faisaliah Hotel above all others in the category,” Gavriel added.
A landmark at the heart of the city’s Olaya district, Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel has been critically-acclaimed in the last ten years, and was most recently named Saudi Arabia’s Leading Business Hotel for a consecutive year at the 2009 World Travel Awards.
Since 1995, AKMC has been the trendsetter in the development and management of commercial properties in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its diverse portfolio includes some of the country’s most iconic hospitality, retail and mixed-use complexes.
