Johannesburg to host the 10th Edition Hotelier Summit Africa

IDE Consulting Services will be hosting the 10th Edition Hotelier Summit Africa on the 20th and 21st of April, 2017 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

DUBAI – Africa is steadily developing into one of the world’s greatest tourist destinations, and there is a need for increased demand for Hotels across the continent. In South Africa, Mauritius, Tanzania, Nigeria & Kenya alone, the Hotel Room revenue is expected to grow to 15 Billion USD in the next 2-3 years.

To meet the immense requirements, IDE Consulting Services, a leading real estate solutions provider will be hosting the 10th Edition Hotelier Summit Africa on the 20th and 21st of April, 2017 in Johannesburg, South Africa. This initiative is a precursor to the 11th Edition Hotelier Summit Middle East.

Several companies from the GCC, and in particular the UAE, will be participating in both initiatives. Companies like RAK Ceramics, Assad Daou and Winner International were participants in last year’s edition of the Hotelier Summit Africa as they recognize this as the optimum platform to make revolutionary progress in key areas such as procurement and investments.

“Our objective is to make the entire real estate ecosystem in Africa more efficient and effective. The first step is to identify the pain points the developers might face when it comes to procurement of products and services for their upcoming projects, then offering tailor made solutions based on decades of accumulated experience in the industry” said Ravi Kumar Chandran, Director of IDE’s initiatives in Africa

Leading hotel project holders in Africa like the Hilton, Sun International, Tsogo Sun, Boogertman & Partners, Studio HBA, Simba Corp, Nexus Hospitality, Jacaranda Hotels, DIAD, Source IBA, Accor, Master Assets, James Cubitt, Arup, VLH, among many others represented 792 Real Estate projects during IDE’s 3 initiatives last year in Africa.

“Africa is rapidly becoming an attraction for foreign investment and hub for successful businesses. Global companies have the opportunity to entrench their brand and presence in the region. We have already seen several hotel operators gain significant market share in some African countries by being the first mover, and we expect this trend to continue in the foreseeable future,” concluded Vyshak Simha, Marketing Head at IDE.
