NEW YORK – More and more European hotels are reopening in the wake of the Covid-19 lockdown. Schloss Elmau in Bavaria and the Orania.Berlin reopened last week, as did several members of the Dan Hotels group in Israel.

The boutique Il Palazzetto in Rome reopened on June 1. The Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne and the Regina Isabella Hotel & Spa are both set to reopen on June 12. The Beau-Rivage Palace reopening will include the opening of a brand-new and enlarged Cinq Mondes Spa. The Regina Isabella will be the first five-star hotel in Ischia to reopen – with some of the luxury hotels on the island not planning to open until 2021.
