Further additions to the Kempinski portfolio are the highly acclaimed Commune by the Great Wall Kempinski Beijing and the Kempinski Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real on Fuerteventura, both chose to team up with the renowned hotel group in order to strengthen their market share. In Turkey, the Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay in the sailing resort of Bodrum and the group`s first golf hotel, the Kempinski Hotel The Dome in Belek, opened their doors. Opposite the famous Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg the Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 awaits its guests in splendour. Building on its reputation in St. Moritz, Kempinski now offers a luxurious ski resort in Bansko, Bulgaria, the Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena. Last but not least, the legendary `Kili`, the Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski in Dar Es Salaam had its long awaited re-opening in August.

During the coming months, new Kempinski hotels and resorts will open on the Spice Island of Zanzibar, in Chad and Dalian, China. Throughout 2006 more properties will follow in Eastern Europe (Latvia and Slovakia), in the Middle East (Dubai and the Dead Sea) and in China.
