YOUNTVILLE, CALIF. – La Residence is excited to announce that upon completion of its extensive renovations, it will reopen in Summer 2014 under the new name of Senza, a Napa Valley Retreat.
This change from La Residence to Senza aligns with the hotel’s vision for enhancing and modernizing both the property itself and the guest experience. The name Senza stems from the desire to create an environment that inspires all the senses. A family-owned property, Senza seeks to create an authentic expression of sophisticated country charm, reflecting the Hall family’s passion and respect for Napa living. With roots in the Napa area, the Hall family is highly involved in helping to craft the guest experience in ways that showcase the local area and make every guest feel at home. Mixing the highest quality amenities, superb modern art, comfortable, contemporary spaces, and a bit of country charm, Senza creates a feeling of understated luxury, more like a private retreat than just a night away.
Construction began in December 2013 to enlarge and enhance the property, which will go from 25 to 41 rooms and suites. While guests can expect new rooms and furnishings, Senza has maintained the oasis-like feel so loved by its loyal guests. Rooms will bring the outdoors in, with beautiful balconies, porches, and oversized windows. In addition to a larger room count, Senza will have a spa, fitness center, and expanded business facilities.
