Laurus Corporation announces new name of Vail Cascade Condominiums

Vail Residences at Hotel Talisa owners and guests will enjoy access to full suite of new luxury resort amenities.

VAIL, COLO. – Laurus Corporation, a private real estate investment and development firm, announced the former Vail Cascade Condominiums have been renamed Vail Residences at Hotel Talisa. Owners and guests of the private residences, including a variety of homes and condominiums, will have full access to the robust amenities and programming of Vail's newest luxury resort, Hotel Talisa, Vail in spring 2017. Hotel Talisa, Vail is currently undergoing an expansive renovation and rebrand, including its 285 guest rooms, public spaces, restaurant and new full service spa. The resort, including the new hotel and Vail Residences at Hotel Talisa, which include Cascades on Gore Creek, Coldstream, Liftside, Millrace, Penthouses and Westhaven complexes along with private homes, will remain under the management of Two Roads Hospitality, the largest operator of independent hotels, resorts and residences in the United States, with the residences remaining under the Destination Hotels brand.

The residences are set at the base of Vail Mountain, just a few steps away from the best skiing, hiking and biking trails in Vail Valley. Owners and guests of Vail Residences at Hotel Talisa will have full access to create their own moments worth collecting through a curated variety of rarified, personalized amenities and programming inspired by mountain settings around the world including the Hotel Talisa Altitude Concierge to assist guests in adjusting to Vail's 8,000+ feet of elevation. The resort will shortly launch its signature kid's club, Talisa Tykes, offering its littlest guests year-round rotating weekly activities, including pizza-making and on-property scavenger hunts. Guests will enjoy convenient private car and shuttle service to Vail Village and surrounding areas, just minutes away.

In addition to these amenities, owners and guests have access to the resort's top-ranked 58,000 square foot adjoining Aria Athletic Club and Spa along with the hotel's 40,000 square feet of beautifully appointed meeting and event space.  This spring, they will also be able to indulge at the all new Spa at Hotel Talisa. Designed to follow in the footsteps of traditional luxury alpine spas, The Spa embraces both the natural splendor and healing powers of the surrounding mountains and creeks in an indoor/outdoor setting. Treatments will include soothing mountain mud baths and body scrubs infused with botanicals found near Vail Mountain's storied hiking trails.

Hotel Talisa will offer three culinary venues, including a three-meal restaurant, a fireside bar and lounge, and a cafe-style market, each sourcing ingredients from local ranchers and farmers. The resort's new restaurant, Gessner, will feature cuisine inspired by the Colorado Rockies as well as Vail's roots in European culture with authentic flavors and dishes from those countries bordering the Alps. The Market, conveniently located for travelers and skiers alike, will be filled with specialty gourmet provisions and beverages perfect for an early morning start on the mountain or a mid-afternoon treat. Hotel Talisa's lounge will be the perfect mountainside setting for the resort's signature "Apres Everyday." More than just the typical social hour, Talisa's year-round Apres Everyday will feature inventive avant and apres-adventure libations, bites and music. Additionally, guests can expect to encounter special Apres Everyday surprises throughout the day during their visit, making the best of apres a way of life at Hotel Talisa.

Visitors to Vail enjoy direct access from nearby Eagle County Airport, which receives airlift unmatched by most mountain communities, including non-stop service to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix and Washington, D.C. Denver International Airport, approximately two hours away, is the 18th busiest airport in the world and receives hundreds of additional domestic and international flights daily.
