178 rooms and 500 square metres event space in a prime central location

BERLIN / WARSAW – Further expansion by Leonardo Hotels – on the 15th of March, Warsaw will become the latest destination in the Leonardo portfolio. Hitherto known as the 4-star JM Hotel Warsaw Center, the hotel occupies floors from 18th to 27th in JM Tower building, which is located in the heart of the city. The hotel has 178 rooms and specialises in the organisation of events of any kind, offering over a total of 500 square meters floor area in 6 function rooms. JM Hotel Warsaw Center is still one of the tallest buildings in the city, thus ensuring a fantastic panoramic view from the top floors. The hotel will be included in the Leonardo Hotel brand and will operate under the name Leonardo Royal Hotel Warsaw. With the help of the international Hotel Interior Designer Andreas Neudahm the Leonardo Hotels will bring the hotel to the Leonardo Royal Standard.

Warsaw is one of the most important centres of commerce in Central and Eastern Europe. Poland's capital has become a young and diverse metropolis which includes a picturesque old town, a broad art and culture scene and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Daniel Roger, Managing Director Europe, says: "Warsaw is an indispensable part of Eastern Europe, both as a centre of commerce and as a cultural attraction. We are very glad that we were able to lease this property following a long series of negotiations with the Management Board of JM Hotels Sp. z o.o. and the company’s President of the Management Board Jerzy Mendelka, that our hotel chain is now represented in Warsaw, and that we can offer our guests another attractive destination."

GRUNDCONSULT Projektmanagement and Investment GmbH, a subsidiary of FFIRE AG, Berlin, has advised Leonardo Hotels on the lease of the hotel. Norbert Moraczewski, CEO and Country Manager for Poland, responsible for the deal comments: “This is a great location for Leonardo Hotels to open their first hotel in Poland and we are delighted to have generated this transaction and therefore supported the market entry in Poland. It has been a major success for the involved parties and illustrates that the Warsaw hotel market continues to enjoy high demand.”
