Over the last 10 years, more than 200 exotic trees were removed and replaced by over a 1000 indigenous plants [representing different ecological regions], that created a natural environment for birds and insects.
With more and more development and increasing numbers of people settling in the Centurion/Pretoria area, there will be a need for this indigenous forest, a breathing space, an open laboratory, a space to relax in natural habitat, a park in the city conserved for the benefit of future generations.
