limehome successfully starts the first quarter of 2023 with 400 new units

Josef Vollmayr, Co-Founder and Managing Director of limehome.

In Q1/2023, limehome signs contracts for 400 new apartments. Further projects are being realized on the Iberian Peninsula.

MUNICH – limehome, leading technology-based provider and operator of fully digitalised design apartments in Europe, looks back on a successful first quarter of 2023. With a total of 400 new units, limehome further expanded its portfolio in the first three months of this year. In addition, the serviced apartment provider reaches another milestone and now has locations under contract in over 100 European cities.

Two thirds of the new contracts were signed in large, medium-sized and small cities in Germany and Austria. Across Europe, limehome strengthened its presence with almost 150 new units in Spain and Portugal, located in Madrid and Barcelona, among other cities.

In Bremen, limehome signed for 82 apartments in the renowned Kontorhaus, where a mixed-use concept with retail and office space, gastronomy and apartments is being implemented. The Balgequartier, where the Kontorhaus is located, is currently considered one of the most important urban development projects in Bremen by the Joh. Jacobs & Co. group along Langenstraße in a central location.

The Munich-based company is also completing its presence in particularly sought-after A-cities such as Stuttgart. In Stuttgart East, limehome is creating another 54 units that will span four floors once the renovation of the building is complete.

In the newly developing City Quartier in Kaiserslautern, limehome signs 40 new units. For this, the serviced apartment provider is renting parts of the former Telekom site. Guests will be able to stay in the design apartments in a prime location in the city in the Palatinate from the first quarter of 2025.

The project in Krems, located in the UNESCO World Heritage Area Wachau in Lower Austria, is an architectural highlight. The building, in which 21 new units are spread over two floors, looks back on 400 years of history as a former Capuchin monastery. Today, the ground floor of the time-honoured building is home to one of Lower Austria’s top event locations.

Further leases for premium accommodation were signed by limehome for the cities of Bremen, Eisenach, Steyr, Düsseldorf, Hof and Gelsenkirchen.

Josef Vollmayr, Co-Founder and Managing Director of limehome, says: “After a very successful 2022, the signings of the first quarter of this year once again underline limehome’s growth trajectory across cities of all sizes. We have our partners, customers, investors and, above all, our employees to thank for this, who are tirelessly on the lookout for new innovative real estate utilisation concepts in the prime locations of European destinations.”
