London Marriott Hotel Park Lane completes renovation of meetings and events spaces

RPW Design is responsible for transforming the areas into state-of-the-art meeting and events spaces, as well as all 152 bedrooms, within the Grade II listed property.

As part of London Marriott Hotel Park Lane undergoing a complete transformation, the lobby, Executive Lounge and meetings and events spaces are the first to be completed. Set to raise the bar for Mayfair, the hotel now offers the highest standard of business services in Central London.

The well-appointed meeting rooms – Oxford Suite, Hyde Park Suite and Mayfair Boardroom – have been redesigned to provide adaptable spaces to cater up to 60 guests. Each of the three meeting rooms epitomise Mayfair elegance with chic interiors, cutting edge technology (including the choice of the latest in audio and visual equipment), natural light and a collection of British artwork curated by acclaimed art consultant Peter Millard.

As part of the hotel’s on-going commitment to providing the best in London for training workshops, intimate social events, interviews, conferences and dinner receptions, London Marriott Hotel Park Lane offers a bespoke service for each individual client’s requirements.

Meeting rooms can be adjusted to provide pre-dinner cocktail area, registration area, break out room or display room and for an evening occasion the Private Dining Room within the hotel’s restaurant, Lanes of London, is an intimate space for up to 10 guests.

Throughout every stage of the event attentive staff are on hand to support with any venue, catering or technology needs. As a result, London Marriott Hotel Park Lane has been voted #1 Hotel for Overall Event Satisfaction within Marriott UK & Europe for the third consecutive year since 2012.

Guests can make use of Marriott Hotels International’s first-of-its-kind concept, MeetingsImagined.com. The online platform allows users to design the entire look and feel of an event through the use of image galleries and interactive web-tools. From May 2015, the Marriott exclusive meeting services app, Red Coat Direct, allows users to manage an event through real-time requests on their mobile or tablet device.

A wide selection of set and a-la-carte food options can be adapted to the dietary requirements and preferences of guests, allowing for a bespoke menu for the event.

Within the luxurious public areas, including the lobby and Executive Lounge, guests can benefit from complimentary Wi-Fi access, providing a relaxed environment to stay connected in between meetings.

London Marriott Hotel Park Lane will complete the renovation in June 2015 as part of the repositioning of the hotel to represent the best of Marriott in London and to be the hotel of choice in Mayfair.
