Magnuson introduces CRS fee calculator in UK reservation system launch

The CRS1 hotel reservation system platform offers worldwide GDS/OTA/Google distribution with flat fees per transaction and volume based pricing.

LONDON UK – Launched last week at the Annual Hotel Conference in Manchester UK, Magnuson Worldwide’s low cost global hotel reservation system CRS1 introduced the first ever CRS fee calculator.

The CRS1 reservation fee calculator  allows individual hotels and chains to compare fees between low cost CRS1 and several of the largest CRS providers such as Pegasus, Synxis and Travelclick.

The CRS1 hotel reservation system platform offers worldwide GDS/OTA/Google distribution with flat fees per transaction and volume based pricing. Magnuson states that hotels utilising commonly provided legacy hotel reservation systems such as Pegasus, Synxis and Travelclick will be able to reduce CRS transaction costs up to 90%.

“Global hotel rates have increased 2% in the last year, offset by a world inflation rate of 4.2%,” stated Magnuson Worldwide CEO Thomas Magnuson. “Owners can no longer count on rate or demand increases for profitability, but they can regain profits quickly with a consistent low cost operating strategy.”

The CRS1 system offers a free hotel property management system, PMS1, no monthly fees, no monthly minimums, and no long-term contracts.

CRS1 offers hotels the ability to make instant rate and availability changes to a complete global distribution of GDS channels Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan, Apollo, Pegasus as well as direct connections to Google Hotel Finder, Expedia, Booking.com, GlobalHotelExchange.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

CRS1 is certified to interface with channel managers SiteMinder, RateTiger and HBSi as well as major PMS systems Micros, MSI, Infor by SoftBrands, Maestro, Agilysys, Inn Quest, RezStream, Rezovation, Lodgical Solutions, Innsoft, AutoClerk, Resort Data Processing, SoftHotel and RSI.
