More than 100 Marriott International professionals engaged in Marriott International Middle East & Africa annual Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management Conference.
AMMAN, JORDAN – Marriott International Middle East & Africa held its annual Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management Conference at the Jordan Valley Marriott Dead Sea Resort & Spa, from February 16th to February 20th, 2014.
A number of attendees from Marriott International around the world, including Stephanie Linnartz, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, Karin Timpone, Global Marketing Officer, and Dave Townshed, Senior Vice President Global Sales, shared their experiences and their knowledge during the conference, in addition to the honorary guest speaker, Dr. Omar Razzaz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, King Abdullah II Fund for Development and Chairman of the Jordan Strategy Forum, who shared his wisdom with the Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management leaders.
More than 100 Marriott International professionals engaged in this annual Conference. Protea Hotels – the largest and leading hotel group in Africa, new to the Marriott family, attended their first Marriott International conference which provided a unique forum for sharing best practices and networking between the attendees.

The conference week had an exciting program filled with insightful trainings and educational presentations. COURAGE TO WIN was the theme of the conference and it was carried out during the sessions and workshops, where the attendees had the opportunity to interact with each other and shared their experiences, celebrated their achievements and started planning and preparing for an exciting 2014.

As part of Marriott International’s Spirit to Serve activity, the conference attendees were joined for lunch by participants of the Youth Career Initiative (YCI), which is a six-month program that provides passionate and driven young people from disadvantaged backgrounds life and work skills through internships at partner hotels around the world.
Marriott International manages three properties in Jordan, the Amman Marriott Hotel, the Jordan Valley Marriott Dead Sea Resort & Spa, the Petra Marriott Hotel and a fourth property in Aqaba now under construction.
