Millennium & Copthorne Hotels announced its signed agreement with Gulf Real Estate Development House Company K.S.C. to manage the new Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre, Kuwait. This will be the Group’s second property within Kuwait and will be dedicated to the business traveller with first class business facilities and almost 4000 m2 of conference space.
Speaking about this new relationship President & CEO of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Middle East & Africa, Mr. Ali Hamad Lakhraim Alzaabi, commented at the joint press conference, “We are pleased to complement our existing hotel offering within Kuwait – the Al Jahra Copthorne Hotel & Resort, with this unique 5 star business hotel, which will be home to Kuwait’s conference and exhibition market. Located in the Salmiya area of Kuwait City and strategically positioned at the major intersection of the Fourth Ring Road and Fahaheel Highway 30, the hotel will have 307 rooms comprising of standard guest rooms, deluxe guest rooms, suites and serviced apartments. Rooms will be equipped with the latest technology and upscale amenities in line with the brand’s design standards.
The Hotel’s Convention Centre will comprise of almost 4,000 m2 of meeting and conference facilities, including a show case ballroom of over 1080 m2 and several meeting room styles to cater for meetings and events of all sizes and set ups.
The hotel will have multiple Food & Beverage outlets including an All Day Dining restaurant and signature concepts, in addition to an extensive banqueting facility for the Convention Centre.
Additional leisure facilities will include a state of the art Health Club and Spa and outdoor swimming pool.
