Millennium & Copthorne launches iconic luxury hotel brand ‘Biltomore’ in MENA

Millennium & Copthorne hotels, one of the world’s largest hotel companies with more than 120 owned and managed hotels across 20 countries, has announced it has added Biltmore to its portfolio of hotel brands. The first management agreement for a Biltmore Hotel in MENA has been signed for a property currently in the final design phase. The property in the Al Bateen area of Abu Dhabi is expected to be opening its doors in 2013.
 
The original Biltmore Hotel in Hollywood is an original art deco design icon, exuding opulent luxury and style, and was the setting of many of Hollywood’s most memorable scenes. As the brand is brought to the Middle East, it will stay true to its illustrious past and drawing on its rich heritage.
 
The addition of the distinguished Biltmore brand to the Millennium & Copthorne portfolio is a significant move for the rapidly-growing hotel company, which is due to add 12 new  properties to its portfolio of 12 operating hotels this year, with 52 signed management agreements in the pipeline. The hotel group expects to triple in the Middle East and North Africa in less than 3 years.
 
The announcement was made ahead of the opening of Arabian Travel Market 2011 where Millennium & Copthorne is exhibiting for the 6th year running, and promoting its sensational 99 days of summer sizzlers campaign, and a special summer deal every day for 99 days  available exclusively on the www.millenniumsummer.com website.

A large 150 square metre stand gives the company a significant presence at the event where it will be showcasing its MENA hotels and portfolio of brands, which include Biltmore, Grand Millennium, Millennium, Copthorne and Kingsgate. The hotel company has also partnered up with ATM to launch the ATM apprentice programme, a fast track programme for the brightest talent in the hospitality industry.
