NAVIS continues growth and market expansion into Latin America

Latin America venture is the latest in a series of developments designed to support the increasing demand for NAVIS hospitality sales and marketing solutions.

BEND, OR. – In 2015, the leadership team at NAVIS, led by Kyle Buehner made the decision to explore market penetration into LATAM with Mexico being its keen focus. With the recent appointment of Robert Mendez as International System Consultant, the company has announced it will increase its presence to amplify its reach in the region. NAVIS has, for the last three decades, advanced and innovated high-performance hospitality sales and marketing solutions that create and convert more demand across all channels, resulting in dramatic growth in revenue and profit for hotels, resorts and vacation rental companies.

The award-winning company has been expanding rapidly in North America and now has its sights on helping leading independent resorts, hotels, and vacation rental brands throughout Mexico increase occupancy and maximize rates while lowering costs. NAVIS has already signed on several new properties in the area, including El Ganzo Hotel and Casa del Mar Golf and Spa Resort. These five-star independents are part of the Questro Group, and will join a growing list of NAVIS clients in Mexico.

NAVIS CEO, Kyle Buehner said, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to bring our experience and capabilities to Latin America and welcome Robert to the NAVIS team to lead the effort. Hotels and lodging groups of all sizes are looking for ways to increase direct bookings, make better sales and marketing decisions based on accurate, real-time data and uncover previously hidden profit sources, and it’s the perfect time for NAVIS to fill a long-standing void for these solutions in LATAM.”

Mendez is a rising star in travel technology who has successfully helped pioneering companies grow their businesses in LATAM. He has a rich background of experience. For nearly five years, Mendez was the key lead figure in growing Booking.com, opening five offices throughout Latin America.

“It is a rare opportunity to find an organization with such an outstanding reputation for service, coupled with innovative technology and leadership,” says Mendez. “I am thrilled to introduce accommodation groups in this region to NAVIS’ proven solutions to keep more business in reach and in their marketing funnel that results in higher ADR (average daily rate), longer stays, longer booking windows and increased ancillary spend.”

NAVIS’ Latin America growth is the latest in a series of expansions designed to support the increasing demand for their suite of products and services and unlock new market opportunities for the company. The future looks bright for NAVIS in Mexico and beyond.
