New business hotel in Athens

A new hotel has joined the ranks of Athens accommodation units working hard on attracting valued business clients. The five-star Alexandros, on Mavili Square near the US embassy, recently underwent extensive renovations. It is a member of the Airotel group which includes the Parthenon, Riva and Christina hotels and is headed by Stratis Vassilikou.

Alexandros hotel manager Leonidas Tsagaris told TDN that the unit is focused on the needs of business travellers and, therefore, offers specific services such as Internet access in all rooms.
All rooms have television, airconditioning, data ports and safes along with the usual conveniences. The Alexandros also has three fully equipped conference rooms and a restaurant which serves Greek and international cuisine.

Tsagaris has 15 years` experience in the hotel industry and has worked in managerial posts in Greece, Australia and France.

Airotel intends refurbishing all of its units with the Riva next on the list.
