Georgina Godoy named Director of Sales in Los Cabos, Tulio Baruch Transitions to Riviera Maya.
PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO – The AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Los Cabos has appointed Georgina Godoy as Director of Sales. Tulio Baruch, who has been in the position for the past 11 months, has been named Director of Sales of the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Maya. In their new positions, they are responsible for the “Beyond All-Inclusive, Beyond All Compare” resorts’ development and implementation of worldwide sales. The appointments are effective immediately.
Bringing more than 12 years of sales experience and a special expertise in international marketing, Godoy has rejoined Velas Resorts’ team at Grand Velas Los Cabos after most recently serving as Director of Sales & Marketing at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort. Immediately prior she was Director of Sales of Grand Velas Riviera Maya. Her experience also includes other award-winning Mexico resorts including NIZUC Resort & Spa and Fairmont Mayakoba. Godoy is a graduate of The Anahuac University in Mexico with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has completed education and training programs from Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotel & Resorts.
With over 20 years’ experience in luxury hotels, Baruch most recently served as the Director of Sales at Grand Velas Los Cabos. Prior to, he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya and he acted in the same position for Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancun. He has also held sales positions within Rosewood Hotels and Resorts and InterContinental Hotels Group. Baruch received his Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Universidad La Salle de Cancun, Mexico. He speaks Spanish, English and French.
