New Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi to open in June 2016

This is the first Family Premium hotel in the portfolio of Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences, which is so far represented in six countries, and one of eight facilities in Italy.

VIENNA – The doors of Falkensteiner’s new Resort Capo Boi will open in June 2016. This is the hotel group’s first ‘Family Premium’ resort and offers 146 rooms, family rooms and suites with direct access to a sandy beach on the south coast of Sardinia.

Falkensteiner’s Resort Capo Boi will be open from mid-June 2016. This is the first Family Premium hotel in the portfolio of Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences, which is so far represented in six countries, and one of eight facilities in Italy. Together with Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo and Apartments Lake Garda, it is the third location that the group has opened in Italy in 2015/16.

Family fun, right by the sea
The family resort lies on a bay, one hour from the capital, Cagliari. A choice of pools, the Acquapura SPA area, diverse eateries, a Club Lounge, direct access to the beach and the option of visiting the nearby 18-hole Golf & Country Club make the Falkensteiner resort at Capo Boi a holiday location that offers plenty of variety.

As it is the first Family Premium resort, particular attention is given to families and their needs. In addition to child-friendly living quarters with children’s rooms and patios, the outdoor areas and services of the resort, too, are geared to family requirements.

The holiday starts with a child-friendly check-in, with Falky welcome gift. During the holiday, the Falky Land with indoor and outdoor areas, an international entertainment team for children and teenagers as well as special children’s areas and the Teens-Table in the restaurant will ensure happiness all around. For very small guests, the hotel provides baby equipment on request.

Swimming lessons for babies, children and adults, lunch for kids and teens together with the entertainment team and babysitters are available for an extra fee.

A fabulous choice of pools, restaurants and bars
The various pools of the hotel, which is designed to meet five-star standards, as well as the sea offer many opportunities for younger and older guests to enjoy a refreshing dip. The Infinity Relax Pool on two levels has a superlative view of the bay; the Acquapura SPA Pool offers both indoor and outdoor relaxation; and the Activity Pool with its small water slide, play area and entertainment activities is the place where everyone can splash around.

In culinary terms, too, variety at the highest level is the order of the day. Guests can watch as breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes influenced by Sardinian cuisine are freshly prepared in the resort restaurant. The Kids Corner and Teens-Table provide alternative seating. During the day, guests can enjoy snacks at the lounge bar or sample pizza, bruschetta and salads at the pool bar. The lunch menu at the beach restaurant includes grilled specialities, pasta and pizza, and in the evening the a la carte fish restaurant has a choice of local seafood.

The beach ar provides drinks and ice creams, and between 18:00-24:00 the club lounge is the place for smoothies, freshly pressed fruit juices, cocktails and an international DJ line-up with special guests fires up everyone’s mood with music. “But we also have many other offers to make your stay special. For example, a private transfer from Cagliari airport and back can be booked in advance, which saves hassle and worry. For guests in suites, these extras are included in the price”, says hotel director Antonio Delpin.

He is certain that the various pools and restaurants, Falky Land, the very first Falkensteiner Teen World and the Kids Corner and Teens-Table in the resort restaurant will appeal to all the family. “The sport and leisure activities in the hotel and on the island likewise ensure that no-one gets bored. Externally, there is a water sports centre with stand up paddle boarding, snorkelling, canoeing and more besides. Tennis courts are also available and lessons can be arranged. Our location is wonderful; there are so many ways our guests can get active on site and beyond. I am looking forward to welcoming our first guests and to receiving their feedback about our resort.”
