New flights to elevate Quinta do Lago to new golf heights

From now until the end of March, low-cost airline Ryanair will be operating twice-weekly services into Faro airport from five new destinations: Berlin, Cologne, Cork, Marseille and Milan.

The popularity of Portugal’s exclusive Quinta do Lago resort among European golfers is set to soar to new heights with the launch of five new flight routes to the Algarve this winter.

From now until the end of March, low-cost airline Ryanair will be operating twice-weekly services into Faro airport from five new destinations: Berlin, Cologne, Cork, Marseille and Milan.

Situated just a 15-minute drive from Faro airport, the luxury lifestyle resort is the perfect choice for a sporting break with its golfing facilities including three 18-hole championship golf courses – the North, South and Laranjal – a Paul McGinley Golf Academy and TaylorMade Performance Fitting Center.

Individuals and groups can take advantage of savings of 10 per cent and an array of other benefits when booking a three, five or seven-night stay at the award-winning venue from now until December 12.

Accommodation is provided in Quinta do Lago’s boutique Magnolia Hotel with prices including golf on any of the resort’s three 18-hole championship courses. One hotel dinner is also included while non-golfers can exchange their golf for spa vouchers to be used in the Magnolia’s Wellness Centre.

In addition to its renowned courses and outstanding practice facilities, guests can stay in shape at the state-of-the-art performance centre The Campus, a world-class sports hub designed for professionals and amateurs alike to keep fit.

Complementing the golf facilities is a choice of 10 high-class bars and restaurants that deliver an array of delicious world cuisines, including the much-loved Bovino Steakhouse and Dano’s Sports Bar & Restaurant, a new sports gastro pub which opened last month.
