New Green Pearl in Switzerland: Waldhotel Fletschhorn Saas Fee

The Neue Zürcher Zeitung selected the Waldhotel Fletschhorn among the 50 best 4* hotels in Switzerland in spring 2022. It is the fourth Green Pearls partner in Switzerland after CERVO Mountain Resort Zermatt, Hotel Bella Vista Zermatt and Schloss Wartegg on Lake Constance.

The Waldhotel Fletschhorn in Saas Fee is all about sustainability and becomes the latest member of Green Pearls Unique Places. The hotel with its 13 rooms and suites is located just outside the car-free Swiss mountain resort in the middle of a spruce forest and is known nationwide for its gourmet restaurant Fletschhorn.

The team of the Waldhotel Fletschhorn sees tourism as an important initiator of sustainable development in the region and the hotel well positioned for a green future: "The Fletschhorn team has a deep respect for nature and wants to do its part to protect the climate. At 1800 m above sea level, just below the tree line, you experience nature far more directly than you would in the city, for example." To that end, the hotel continues to advance its green initiatives in terms of water, energy and waste management, is socially engaged in the region and focuses its culinary concept on organic, regional and seasonal food.
