IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) announces the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Salt Lake City South – Midvale, the newest and most modern hotel in the Salt Lake Valley area. Located in a suburb close to Interstate 15 and Interstate 215, the former Comfort Suites recently underwent a $400,000 renovation that included upgrades to the 66 guest rooms, all of which feature living areas separated from sleeping areas by a partial divider.

The renovation of the three-story hotel is in keeping with the $1 billion Holiday Inn relaunch, first announced in 2007. The relaunch program creates a more contemporary brand image as part of the drive to increase quality and consistency across the global portfolio. The program focuses on arrival and welcome services, as well as guest-room and guest bath comfort.
