Nonsuch Bay in Antigua signs first trade partnership agreement with Trailfinders

Nonsuch Bay, the luxury sailing resort in Antigua, which opened in December 2009, has signed its first UK trade partnership agreement with Trailfinders. Trailfinders is featuring Nonsuch Bay in their Caribbean inclusive programme from this month.

The resort, which is twenty minutes from English Harbour, is different for Antigua as the accommodation is made up of luxury apartments and villas combined with a sailing school. It is the only luxury resort in the Caribbean, accessed by direct flights from Europe to offer specialist sailing facilities.  There are nine hilltop and waterfront villas and 28 apartments and beach cottages, built around a secluded beach, available for holiday rental.

Mark Whinney, UK Sales and Marketing Director of Nonsuch Bay said: “We are delighted to sign our first trade agreement with Trailfinders.  We feel that our resort is now fully established and the time is right to work with the trade to market our concept. We know Trailfinders to be a strong performer for Antigua and their focus on marketing the resort as villas and apartments, recognises the demand for spacious luxury accommodation within a resort environment and will differentiate us from the traditional accommodation options.”

Gareth Dyer, Product Director for Trailfinders said: "Trailfinders is delighted to be working with such an exciting property as Nonsuch Bay in our Islands of the Caribbean programme for 2012. We’ve dedicated a section of our new Caribbean brochure to highlight the benefits of Resort Villas – flexible space for families, greater privacy and also savings to be had when groups of friends travel together – and we see Nonsuch Bay as an ideal partner for this."

Trailfinders can offer seven nights in a three Bedroom Waterfront Villa from £1,159 per person including direct World Traveller flights from London to Antigua with British Airways and return private airport transfers. Valid for departures 16 April to 14 July 2012 and is based on six adults sharing.
