BEAUFORT, N.C. – Dewitt Carolinas, Inc., the new developer of North River Resort, hosted a ribbon-cutting and reception to open the new 6,000 sq. ft. golf course clubhouse that has long been anticipated in the region. Mayor Stanley commented “It’s a great place and a top golf course in the east to play.” Over 150 guests attended the event and enjoyed great food and entertainment. There was a raising of the flag by Cpl Nathan Farwald.

Since purchasing the community in 2014, Dewitt Carolinas have been making improvements to the championship golf course. They have also expanded the amenities to include a pavilion with a resort-style pool, picnic area, playground and volleyball court which are coming soon. New homes will be priced from the $200’s to $600’s.
