NYLO Hotels partners with Monscierge to offer customized, cloud-based concierge services

Mobile applications give guests instant access to travel tips and local info; will also be available at all NYLO hotels by the end of the summer.

DALLAS – NYLO Hotels LLC announced plans to introduce touch-based concierge products at all of its properties through a new partnership with Monscierge -the only hospitality software company to offer cloud-based applications that communicate directly with staff and can be accessed by guests both on site and remotely. NYLO is the first American boutique hotel brand to partner with the company. The applications -available for iOS and Android, plus Windows for onsite touch-screen concierge devices- connect guests directly with the expertise and local knowledge of NYLO staff, who provide custom-designed tips and information about everything from weather forecasts and local dining recommendations to the latest happenings at the hotel. Guests will also be able to access this information and print directions and boarding passes via touch screens located in each property’s lobby.

“We partnered with Monscierge because we wanted our guests to be able to get the very best out of their stay, 24/7,” said NYLO Hotels CEO Michael Mueller. “No other hospitality software company offers this type of technology. It essentially provides NYLO guests with unlimited access to a personal concierge, wherever they go.”

Unlike other hotel technology services, which are mainly hardware-based and available only at the property itself, Monscierge applications work by using cloud-based technology that guests can access anywhere through their iOS or Android devices. The applications are full of tips, recommendations, and information provided by NYLO staff on where to go, what to do, and how to make the most of their stay. All Monscierge applications update in real time so NYLO staff members can change or add information and alert guests to events taking place at the hotel. Once a guest has downloaded the app, it will automatically update according to which NYLO hotel the guest is visiting. Though it was designed with NYLO guests in mind, the application is free and available for download by anyone.

“The NYLO brand is representative of everything going right in hospitality: its design and offerings are relevant to today’s expectations, it’s tapped into lifestyle trends and local communities, and its hotels approach service in a guest-centric way,” said Monscierge CEO Marcus Robinson. “We felt a partnership between our two companies was a natural fit, and we’re excited to be part of NYLO’s future.”

NYLO hotels offer a highly social atmosphere rich in design, art, music, energy, and comfort. Designed to appeal to both business and leisure travelers, NYLO combines the dynamic qualities of urban loft-style living with best-in-industry services and amenities. Each property offers locally-inspired, cutting-edge design that blends an urban, industrial aesthetic with elegance and comfort. NYLO hotels feature restaurants and bars that are popular with both guests and locals, allowing guests to experience an authentic connection with each destination. The company currently has four properties in Texas and Rhode Island and will open its fifth hotel in New York City this summer. The company also recently announced plans to open a hotel in Nyack, NY in 2014.
