The new Dominican President, Luis Abinader, attended the groundbreaking ceremony to welcome the adults-only hospitality group for their first hotel development outside of Mexico.

CANCUN, QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO – Original Group, the leading adult hospitality group in Mexico, broke ground on Temptation Miches Resort and Temptation Grand Miches Resort in Miches, Dominican Republic. Slated to open Summer 2022, the two new properties will be Original Group’s first resort offering outside of Mexico.

“We are thrilled to finally break ground on this highly anticipated project and are proud to establish our first property abroad in the Dominican Republic, a country that values hospitality and tourism as much as we do in Mexico,” said Rodrigo de la Peña, CEO of Original Group. “We are so thankful to have an amazing business partner Ángel García Berroa, who was born and raised in Miches, join us on this journey of internationalizing our offering.”

Temptation Miches Resort, a 382-suite property, and Temptation Grand Miches Resort, a more exclusive and luxurious 114-suite property, will feature topless optional areas, adult-centric entertainment and unparalleled all-inclusive amenities all in an idyllic new setting. Original Group’s Temptation Experience is a concept that has garnered them the reputation of being Mexico’s leading adult vacation company.

“While it has been trying time for the industry, Original Group is committed to contributing to its recovery in the Dominican Republic with this new offering and is excited to be part of the development of Miches as the next up-and-coming beach destination in the country,” de la Peña  added.

Present for the occasion was Dominican President Abinader, who was previously a prominent hotelier and a strong advocate for attracting foreign investment to stimulate the country’s economy and further develop the tourism sector. With an estimated investment over $120 million USD, both resorts will generate approximately 1,000 direct jobs when fully operational.

Located in the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic, Miches is an unspoiled paradise of white sandy beaches, nearby mountains and crystal clear water. All providing a sense of seclusion, while being conveniently a mere 90 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, the country’s busiest airport offering excellent air connectivity.
