The property has 7 suites with views overlooking some of the coast’s most picturesque fishing villages.

NEW YORK, NY – The Amalfi Coast’s beloved luxury escape, Palazzo Avino opened for the season on April 6, 2023 – the pink paradise perched atop the medieval hilltop village of Ravello is adding a new chapter to their story with both property renovations and launching their Mar-A-Vi-glia a white wine coming from the grapes at La Cascinetta, Palazzo Avino’s vineyard .

Located 37 miles from Naples Airport, the boutique hotel is home to 43 guest rooms and suites, featuring views of both sea and mountain vistas. Palazzo Avino is the ultimate summer destination where guests will have access to an outdoor heated pool and spa, their own Clubhouse by the Sea at the beach, Rossellini’s a Michelin star restaurant and the Lobster and Martini Bar in addition to 24-hour room service.

The property has 7 suites with views overlooking some of the coast’s most picturesque fishing villages. The new Infinito Suite, designed by architect Giuliano Dell’Uva, features its own terrace and sea view has been newly renovated. The suite resides in the highest part of the tower and offers jaw dropping views of the coast. Dell’Uva states, “The starting point of this project was imagining a space immersed in the beauty of this breath-taking landscape and ancient architectures, with an Eastern look.” The renovation of Infinito Suite adheres to “Mediterranean Law”, which states everything should be colorful, in a building when facing the sea.

Mariella Avino, Managing Director and Co-Owner of Palazzo Avino says, “First of all, I wanted the project to be a recovery, strongly rooted in the history of the place. I imagined that color could enter the space, to mirror the great beauty outside. For years I had admired architect Dell’Uva’s attention to a place’s history and his ability in enhancing the outlines with colors and a timeless touch. He perfectly managed to reach both objectives, and now we leave it to our guests to admire and hopefully appreciate the details.”

New for 2023 is Mar-a-vi-glia a white wine with a fresh Mediterranean style created by the Avino sisters. The wine is produced at La Cascinetta, the vineyard at Palazzo Avino and is a love letter from sisters Mariella, Attila, and Maria-Vittoria using grapes typical of the region.

Amongst the hotels F&B offerings is Rossellinis, the Michelin starred restaurant headed by Chef Giovanni Vanacore, which is open for dinner April-October. The unforgettable and authentic menu features handpicked regional wines that can be paired with each course. Rossellinis also offers a Chef’s Table where guests are taken for a culinary adventure with 5-7 different courses from the region. Diners are also offered an invite into the theater of the kitchen with exclusive access to one of the best culinary teams. For the wine and cheese lover Rossellini offers a sommelier table for two.

This season guests are encouraged to enjoy a new art exhibition at Caffe dell’Arte which is displaying work from Marco Gualazzini, the photographs titled Photographic Notes: Underground History highlight conflict and humanitarian crises. The exhibition shows a selection of 32 photographs which are sure to invoke an emotional and reflective experience. Caffe dell’Arte, offers specialty cocktails and snacks. The space will transport guests to la dolce vita as a pianist plays and guests can admire the endless blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Terrazza Belvedere serves small bites as well as pasta dishes. The terrace perched over the property also has a Lobster & Martini bar offering fresh local lobster paired with prosecco. Guests can also enjoy their choice of 100 different martinis crafted by the hotel’s in-house Martini mixologist. The full-service spa, located next to the swimming pool, in the gardens of Palazzo Avino includes a hydropool, sauna, Turkish steam bath, and massage and treatment cabins. In collaboration with EffegiLab they have created three exclusive products inspired by the Campania Region, for guests to dive deeper into the region.

The Pink Closet is a luxury boutique that opened in 2019 a quick stroll down the cobbled streets of Ravello. The shop features hand-picked items by Mariella Avino, Managing Director and one half of the sister duo that owns Palazzo Avino, as well as a signature line and collaborative collections designed by local artisans exclusively available at the location. The whimsical space is designed to look like a walk-in closet, greeting guests with soft blush walls and furnishing, decorative gold chandeliers, luxe mirrors, and displays showcasing the eccentric clothing, accessories, and beauty products available to peruse. Shoppers can bring home a range of unique items, whether they’re looking to completely revamp their wardrobe with an Italian twist, or simply add an accent of the bold and feminine aesthetic celebrated in the store.
