The Tenerife’s North is now easily accessible from the UK thanks to the introduction of a three times a week service from Heathrow with Iberia Express.
Independent operator, Prestige Holidays, has expanded its choice of holiday options in the Canaries and Madeira for the winter with the addition of five properties including two in the North of Tenerife.

New in Tenerife North is Buenavista Golf & Spa, a lovely back to nature hideaway surrounded by banana plantations. The hotel has a stunning mountain backdrop, beautiful spa, pools and a rocky beach just a 15-minute walk away.
Also new in the north is the H10 Tenerife Playa in coastal town of Puerto de la Cruz. This property stands in a prime location on the pedestrian promenade in front of the famous Lago Martianez, just 50 metres from the sea. Facilities include: a choice of swimming pools, a variety of dining options, a children’s playground and seasonal kid’s club.
Making an entrance on La Palma is Sol La Palma located on the seafront in the lovely resort of Puerto Naos close to the resort’s black sandy beach, bars and restaurants. The hotel has a beautiful pool and three children’s pools, plus an observatory for star gazing, a tennis court and wellness centre.
The operator has added to its five star portfolio in Madeira with the Melia Madeira Mare. This modern property is in a superb location in the heart of the Lido area of Funchal, just 25 minutes walk from the city centre. The hotel has a large spa featuring a choice of therapies as well as an aqua area with sauna, Hammam, hot and cold tubs, thalassotherapy, Jacuzzi and hydromassage and beauty showers. There is a choice of restaurants and bars.
