Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn debuts

Radisson Hotels & Resorts, the leading upscale, full-service brand of Carlson Hotels Worldwide  is set to embark on the luxury extended stay business in its soon to open hotel in Bangkok – the Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn. This marks a milestone for the new, two tower city landmark Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn as it now has an extended stay product that caters specifically to the needs of overseas professionals and short stay business and leisure guests.

“Following inspiration from our campaign ‘It Must Be City Life’, the Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn Extended Stay Suites are designed to become a premier address of prestige providing exclusive privileges to our residents and guests.  Here, we create an upscale residential experience and an integrated city living concept that compliments the ambience and service of a 5 star luxury hotel all within one great location at the heart of Bangkok,” said Samir R. Wildemann, general manager of Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn.

Scheduled to open in the second half of 2009, the Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn Extended Stay Suites offers 120 units of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom suites within 37 floors in both towers. It features voguish chic designed rooms with hallmark views of the city and the river, innovative dining, access to meetings and business facilities, event halls, and exclusive use of recreational facilities, spa and urban resort amenities. As an address of prestige, it stands within the crossroads of the city’s business, leisure and recreational points.  It connects to both the BTS Skytrain and the MRT Metro Subway with easy access to major thoroughfares around the city.

Like a fully-equipped kitchen, separate lounge and dining room area, and every other little convenience to recreate a home-away-from-home experience. Packaged with a convenient location close to shopping, the nightlife and business area, the Radisson Extended Suites provide added space and privacy with the convenience and services of a hotel,” General Manager Samir R. “Our focus for our Extended Stay Suites will be the longer-stay market targeting guests staying a month to a period of one year or more. We aim to provide our guests a product that meets their requirements;value for money with pricing inclusive of value discounts on affiliated services such as laundry and dry cleaning, usage of food and dining outlets within the hotel, provision of complimentary access to WiFi connection throughout the building via Radisson ConnectPlus internet service, and the free use of daily shuttle service and recreational facilities within the complex,” said Melanie Ranoa, director of Sales and Marketing of Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn.
