Regent Hotels & Resorts to open the 86-key Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel & Residences this summer

Regent Porto Montenegro is the first Regent property to encompass not only hotel rooms but luxury residences featuring up to three bedrooms and full-sized kitchens for guests who love the home-away-from-home experience.

MONTENEGRO – Regent Porto Montenegro, the newest member of the Regent Hotels & Resorts family, will be welcoming guests for the first time ever on the coast of the Adriatic Sea this summer. With much due anticipation, the luxury hotel and residences complex recently unveiled the details of its accommodations as well as event and dining options. Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel & Residences will feature 51 double rooms and 35 one- to three-bedroom suites, an array of dining facilities and three restaurants, all catering to the needs of affluent travellers from around the world.

Regent Porto Montenegro is the first Regent property to encompass not only hotel rooms but luxury residences featuring up to three bedrooms and full-sized kitchens for guests who love the home-away-from-home experience. All accommodations are designed to bring about the feeling of being on a luxury ship – a tribute to the hotel`s location in the heart of the luxury Porto Montenegro yacht marina. All rooms feature a flat screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are spacious and feature a deep soaking bathtub, walk in shower, and separate water closet. The majority of the accommodations offer unique views of the sea and marina whilst others overlook the lush greenery of the surrounding sinuous mountains. The establishment’s masterpiece – the Regent Residence – is the ultimate in luxury living, offering up to 402 square meters of lavish indoor space and 200 square meters of multiple terrace space. Regent Residence features three bedrooms all with king-sized beds, a full kitchen, spacious dining and living rooms, a study, four and a half bathrooms and, on top of it all, unrivalled panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor, even from the residence’s own private outdoor Jacuzzi.

Aside from the abundance of dining options in the nearby Village, Regent Porto Montenegro will feature a delectable selection of restaurants onsite. The all-day dining Restaurant, with mouth-watering dishes made from fresh local ingredients, is five-star cuisine at the guests’ fingertips. The Library Bar features an open fire place in the winter or an outdoor terrace with stunning sunset views in the summer, with a comprehensive beverage list alongside Mediterranean and Asian-inspired tapas during sundown and Regent’s signature teatime in the afternoon. Gourmet Corner is a quintessential patisserie and deli with organic ingredients, while the elegant Regent Lounge provides a selection of premier cru and grand cru Champagnes, cognacs and the finest Scotch whiskies.

The picturesque surroundings of Regent Porto Montenegro make it the perfect venue for various functions and events. The Ballroom Teodo with its pool deck, Salon Boka, 2 foyers and the Regent Lounge can accommodate up to 200 guests.

“The opening of Regent Porto Montenegro and its introduction of residences into a hotel concept is undoubtedly exciting, especially in an area where tourism has just begun to pick up,” said the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Michael Posch. “We are confident that our magnificent accommodations and bespoke Regent services, along with the sheer beauty of this region, will make a tremendous impact in the area.”

Inspired by the Renaissance Venetian style mixed with local architectural references and designed by ReardonSmith Architects, Regent Porto Montenegro is a five-story terracotta-roofed building with Italian palazzo influences. The hotel is easily accessible via three international airports – Tivat (4.6km), Dubrovnik (47km) and Podgorica (90km). The world-class Porto Montenegro marina features 250 boat berths, a lively village center with informal cafes, waterfront restaurants and upscale retail stores offering both local and international designer brands. Village amenities include a day spa, hair salon, yacht club, nautical museum and Lido pool. Development is already underway to increase the marina’s capacity from 250 to 420 berth.
